The Wars Of Adrasil – Fantasy Score

I wrote an entire fantasy score for Ron Newcomb’s “Ranger’s” short film, produced and created by The Forge Studios. This score was an opportunity to visit one of my favorite genres. I particularly love a lot of tracks for this score and feel they demonstrate my ability to write really pulse-pounding, large scale scores that can escort a film of any size. I particularly love the Armies of the Dead, Final Battle, and End Credits medley.

Of particular fun for me was writing the source music in the tavern – I used the Medieval Legends library, which has an amazing range of medieval string, wind, and percussion elements. I hope it makes you wish for a roaring hearth, a cheery band of merry fellows, a fletching shaft at your back, and beautiful wenches to serenade you into the past.
